The City of Leviathan
A downloadable ttrpg
The market city of Leviathan is located in the gullet of a great beached beast of the depths. The tightly packed streets are filled with sellers and the smell of rotting fish permeates the walls of every home.
The deeper into the asophagus you travel, the poorer the houses become. Here the main trade of Leviathan happens. The meat from the organs of the great monster is a potent hallucinogenic and virility potion, taken by the rich and wealthy.
Carts of the stuff are hauled out of the belly of the beast. Not only that, natural deposits of minerals in its body have created expensive stones, littered throughout its intestines.
The insides of Leviathan have become a veritable treasure trove for would-be adventurers, hired by rich merchants or simply looking for fame and glory.
However, the guts of the rotting dungeon that is Leviathan are not without its dangers. Huge parasites burrow through the deeper parts of the beast, stinging wary adventurers and infecting them with some sort of plague. Transforming their body and mind into gruesome parodies of sea-creatures. Crab-like carapaces and long sharp shark teeth.
Sometimes a single bite from one of these abominations or a singlesting from the large parasites is enough to change someone for good. There is no known cure and the process only needs 5 hours to travel across your body.
The City of Leviathan is a systemless setting intended for Mork Borg contained on a single page than can be folded into a booklet. It contains a large dungeon made from the insides of a dead leviathan. GMs may introduce it it any story and maybe even run a story inside it.
There's loot! There's monsters! There's meat! There's parasites!
