Fukuzatsu: Soloterrare

In the early 1900s, an eccentric member of a local Taured community known as Terrare invited  several of the greatest Fukuzatsu players in the land to a highly paid and extremely secretive tournament at his giant old mansion. No one truly knows what happened that night as screams emanated down into the town, but only one player ever emerged from that place. Babbling and raving about the horrors he could not describe. Those rants were recorded down and eventually became the rules for Soloterrare, the horrifying survival horror version of Fukuzatsu. These are those rules (streamlined to remove the many tangents the mad man went on.)

Soloterrare is a single/two player survival horror roguelike based on the game Fukuzatsu.  It involves exploring a haunted mansion of horrifying creatures, born from tarot cards until you find the evil at the heart of the house, driving your playing card covered sword through its rotten, black heart.
